About Us

Well, it's really about me.
My name is Sarah and I'm 16. This website started as a school project following double concussions in 2015/16. The first concussion was a result of a sailing injury and the second, surfing. I didn't know anything about head injuries until after my second concussion when I began visiting a concussion clinic as a result of my symptoms. Suddenly, I was bombarded by information, some of which I found hard to understand. I had concussion for well over a year and I know how much easier it would have been if I understood more from the start.

I want to provide a website that collaborates information about concussion in a way that is easy to understand as a way of providing support for teenagers with similar (or very different) stories.
